Due to Covid, AT THIS TIME we are only inviting Fully Vaccinated people to attend.  To encourage our fellow dancers to come and feel safe, we are asking that everyone kindly wear a mask indoors due to the new Delta Variant.  THANK YOU for your understanding!!

NOTICE:  MASKS ARE NOW REQUIRED INDOORS, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.  Facial coverings must cover the nose and mouth at all times and have at least two layers.  A scarf, ski mask, balaclava, bandana, gaiter, turtleneck collar, or other covering of only a single layer of fabric may not be used.

Quebradita - Tex Mex

The Quebradita, also known as Tex Mex, is a fast Polka-like dance done to Ranchera Music.  Here is a 36 minute medley of Quebratias with over 100 different bands.  Take a look at the different dance styles.  Most include hopping in place or doing a polka in place.  More advanced dancers can hop and polka in unison.  This is one more very fun and lively "walking/marching" dance.  This type of music is very popular on the radio.  At the San Diego County Fair, every Sunday is "Dia De Las Familias" and they usually have one or two quebradita bands each Sunday.
